great stay with minor hiccups
clean room evening view helpful staff
i found the room quite clean upon arrival. the balcony offered great views, especially in the evening. i appreciated the helpfulness of the staff (they assisted with directions).
the elevator system sometimes required multiple swipes of the keycard, a little inconvenient.

staff members were helpful with directions and requests. the valet service was prompt. i did not have any issues that needed immediate attention, a plus.

the first-floor cafe had good coffee. westlight offered a good atmosphere, even if i only visited briefly (the views were great!). i did not try the other dining options .

Service Inconsistencies Impacted the Stay
haphazard cleaning slow check-in
The service was not consistently good. Daily room cleaning was haphazard. Check-in and check-out were time consuming (this should be streamlined). These issues detract from the overall experience. For a hotel at this price point, I expected more attentiveness.

Adequate Stay with Some Overlooked Details
curtain buttons shower leak
My visit had a few issues. The electronic buttons for the curtains did not work properly. I also found that the shower leaked quite a bit. These issues, though minor, detract from what is expected at this price point. It seemed like some maintenance items were overlooked, affecting the overall impression.

hollow couch little privacy
the room was clean and the accommodations were nice.
the couch was hollow with no cushion. it was not really a suite as much as one large room with a bathroom in the center, a design that didn't allow for much privacy. i probably would not go back or recommend it to anyone..

super clean room gotham king room quick room service
the room was super clean. i stayed in the gotham king room. the view overlooked parts of brooklyn and also sights of manhattan across the water. the bar and refrigerator selection was great. room service was super quick and the food was hot and fresh!!!
the worst thing was that there was some noise at night from nearby establishments.
